Chicago rapper, Shake LaBomba is getting set to release his debut solo project — A.P.E. (All People Eat). “Google Maps” is the first single off the upcoming project. This track feels refreshing because it feels like an introduction to Shake LaBomba, especially for new listeners as he starts the track off saying “don’t see me as a lick, see as a blessing” and “see me in my essence, see me never stressing”.
LaBomba sounds much more polished on this track than when I have last heard him rap. His aggressive delivery over this soulful instrumental is a perfect marriage and if there is more of that sound on A.P.E., LaBomba won’t need Google Maps to find success.
